One of my favorite quotes is “Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results” by Albert Einstein. We are all guilty of it, and if we would slow down and really reflect on what we are doing, I think we would notice it more often. This quote isn’t telling us to give up, or give in, or to stop trying. Rather, it is telling us that we need to be thoughtful about what we are doing, what we are trying to achieve, and what we are trying to accomplish. It is telling us that we should adjust our approach, interrupt our rigidity, and that holding on too tightly won’t get us closer to the goal.
What are you holding on to tightly, and what may improve if you adjust, revise, disrupt, and let go?
