As I worked through college I learned a lot about leadership and leadership styles, but when I would think about my own I would blank. How was I perceived? What were my true strengths and areas of opportunity when it came to leading others? If I had to explain my style to others, what would I say? I really wish that Mike Figliuolo’s Making Leadership Real Again had been in my tool box. I am still excited to have come across it and it immediately resonated with me. Expanding the idea of showing others your whole self, being authentic, and how to live your leadership values, is an excellent place for those new to leadership to begin, and it is a great way to review your current approach and style. We can never truly be experts in this area, because it is a minute by minute choice we make as we move through our day.
